Trust is a key factor in long term relationships & each person in the equation needs to be able to completely trust the other. Trust is not an instantaneous thing, it developed as each party experiences the faithfulness of the other, to talk, help, care and respond. When we fall short as a friend are we given and accepted, can we disagree on matters and still respect each others differences. I have been blessed to be In relationship with my Lord and Savior Jesus, 50 plus years, and found that no matter how often I fall short, he never does, he always forgives and restores. I don't have to understand what he is doing to trust that he has my best interest and well being in mind. Because He loves me holds me accountable and lets me know through the Holy Spirit when I am going in a wrong direction and sets me back on the right path. That is a true friend. Jesus wants a relationship with you.
