MORE ABOUT ME

Peeking Behind the Scenes

Elizabeth is an ordinary older woman who credits God for her wide range of experiences and exposures that have brought her to this point in her life, not because he made these things happen but because she believes he used them to grow her. She grew up as a part of more than one blended family, before that term was even coined. She has seven siblings that she stays connected too although some of them don’t know each other. She has lived in five states and two countries, experiencing small town, city, ranch and farm life. This wide variety of exposure created a unique insight into different view points and attitudes. Elizabeth has also had an extremely diverse work back ground that included waitress, seamstress, cook, housekeeper, governess, hairdresser, clerk, assistant manager, department manager, store manager, buyer, ranch hand, homemaker, cosmetologist, salon manager, salon owner and now an author. One of the assistant manager positions that had a special impact on her was at the Prince of Wales Hotel Gift Shop, not because of the work but the amazing opportunity to meet and work with people from such a large number of different countries an cultures, she counts that as a blessing of great proportion.

Although Elizabeth was not raised in a Christian home, she was exposed to church and youth activities She credits her paternal grandparents as an example of faith, trust in God and the importance of daily study in Gods word. It was in her early twenties when she recognized the need for and sought out a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, It was this decision that led to a forty plus years walk in the spirit of God, growing and shaping her into a woman that would listen to follow and obey as he lead her and prepared her for the plan he had for her to write books with him. During this time he revealed to her, his presence and faithfulness during some of her greatest challenges. During her lifetime thus far she has come through, severe burns, miscarriages, kidney issues, cancer, graves disease, blindness, hunger, abuse, betrayal, loss of loved ones, financial struggles and divorces.

Elizabeth is now a mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who loves, trusts and obeys the leading of the Holy Spirit. She says the writing they are doing together proves that not only does God have a sense of humor but that he can use a common ordinary person to do something extra ordinary.” Elizabeth has learned to trust in Gods power, leading, mercy and grace not only in the parenting process but in all of life and hopes her writing will encourage others to reach out to him as well to receive the peace and joy that awaits them through Jesus.
